HerFuture has its registered office in Rotterdam at the address Burgemeester Oudlaan 50, 3062PA Rotterdam and is registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number 83447539. Our visiting address is Rokin 86, 1012 KX Amsterdam.

Welcome to HerFuture, a platform operated by Minite Works BV. By accessing or using our website and app, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Use. Please read them carefully.

1. Purpose of the Platform

HerFuture is a global community platform designed for job posting, community building, content sharing, and event posting, with a focus on females interested in tech. Our platform connects company partners with female students and graduates seeking opportunities and engagement in the tech industry.

2. User Accounts

2.1 User Eligibility: Our platform is available to users worldwide. We have two main categories of users:

  • Company Users (Hereafter called: Partners): Companies seeking to post job vacancies, create a company page (partner page), and engage with the community.
  • Students & Graduates (Hereafter called: Talents): Individuals interested in tech who are seeking job opportunities, community engagement, and events.

2.2 Account Creation: Users must create an account to access the platform's features. During registration, users are required to provide their first and last name, email address, and study information. Optional information includes work experience and demographic data.

2.3 Account Security: Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login information. Unauthorized access or use of your account must be reported to HerFuture immediately.

Talents are required to create an account to fully utilize HerFuture's services. The use of automated systems to create accounts is strictly prohibited, and HerFuture reserves the right to delete or block any accounts created in violation of these Terms of Use.

3. GENERAL PRESENTATION

3.1 Talents

HerFuture is an integrated platform designed to support your career development, offering features that enable you to:

  • Apply for jobs or internships.
  • Register for events.
  • Be visible to recruiters based on the platform's capabilities.
  • Receive personalized email alerts for jobs, events, and content relevant to your career aspirations.
  • Engage with our community by sharing your experiences and interacting with other members.
  • Access orientation and learning resources designed to guide your career journey.

The HerFuture platform is accessible via our website and through our mobile application. While some content on the platform is available to all visitors, talents have access to additional features, such as applying for jobs or registering for events. Registration and acceptance of these Terms of Use are required to fully engage with the platform.

3.2 Events

Participation in events organized by HerFuture is selection-based. Users can request to be notified when registration opens for an event by using the notification feature on the event page in the app. Once registration opens, users may sign up for events, but this does not confirm attendance. HerFuture will notify users via the app and email if they are selected to participate. Selected users must confirm their attendance through the app by the specified deadline. Failure to confirm by this deadline will result in the user being placed on the waitlist for the event.

Users who have confirmed attendance may retract their participation up to 48 hours before the event. However, retracting attendance may negatively impact eligibility for future events. If a user wishes to retract within 48 hours of the event, they must do so by contacting HerFuture directly via the phone number provided in the app. HerFuture reserves the right to assess the validity of the reason provided for late retraction.

Failure to attend an event without notice, or retracting attendance less than 48 hours before the event, will result in the user being charged for the associated event costs. Additionally, users who fail to show up without notice may face penalties, including potential bans from the platform. This policy ensures fairness and helps HerFuture manage resources effectively for all participants.

3.3 Partners

As a Partner, HerFuture allows you to:

  • Post job or internship opportunities.
  • Create and manage a partner page to present your organization.
  • Share content, including job ads, partner descriptions, and event information.
  • Engage with talents.

Partners are expected to post content solely on behalf of their company and not for any third party unless expressly agreed upon by HerFuture. Content may be subject to technical validation before it is published on the platform.

HerFuture reserves the right to remove or disable any content that violates these Terms of Use or is deemed unlawful based on a reasoned request from another platform user. The responsibility for the content lies entirely with the Partner, and HerFuture cannot be held liable for the removal or alteration of such content.

4. User Content and Conduct

4.1 Content Posting

Partners: Partners may post job vacancies and create a partner page on the platform. All content must adhere to these Terms of Use.

Responsibility for Content: The Partner you represent acknowledges that HerFuture is not required to verify the content of the Partner’s job postings or partner page, including its wording, target audience, or any other details. The content published by the Partner is the sole responsibility of the Partner.

Content Removal: HerFuture reserves the right to remove any content published by Partners if it breaches these Terms of Use or if a participant of the HerFuture platform submits a reasoned request for its removal based on its alleged unlawfulness. HerFuture cannot be held responsible for the removal of such content.

Prohibited Conduct: Users are prohibited from engaging in harassment, spamming, or any illegal activities on the platform. Violations may result in account suspension or termination.

Misuse of the Platform: Partners and other users must not misuse the platform, including but not limited to impersonating another person, publishing false or misleading content, interfering with the proper functioning of the platform, publishing content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others, sharing offensive or defamatory material, using personal data obtained through the platform for unauthorized purposes, or engaging in any behavior contrary to public policy or morality are all strictly prohibited.

In the event of a breach of any of these rules, HerFuture reserves the right to block or terminate your access to the platform without compensation and without prior notice. HerFuture may also seek compensation for any damages resulting from such conduct.

5. Privacy and Data Use

We collect personal data such as email addresses, phone numbers, study information, work experience, and demographic data. This information may be used for marketing purposes, analytics, or to enhance our services. Additionally, we may share your data with our partners to facilitate job matching and other opportunities.

6. Partner Responsibilities and Content Management

The Partner you represent explicitly acknowledges that neither HerFuture nor any associated institutions are required to verify the content of the Partner's job postings, partner page, or any other published material (including its wording, target audience, etc.). The content published by the Partner is the Partner's sole responsibility.

The Partner also acknowledges and agrees that HerFuture may, at any time, remove any content published by the Partner, such as job ads or partner information, if all or part of the content is in breach of these Terms of Use, or if a participant of the HerFuture platform (e.g., a member, user, etc.) submits a reasoned written request for its removal based on its alleged unlawfulness. HerFuture cannot be held responsible for this removal.

Furthermore, if a Partner creates a partner page that is accessible throughout the network, and if the content of that page is substantially similar to what is published or validated by an Administrator on the platform, HerFuture reserves the right to disable the Partner's page to optimize the use of the Service. The page will be reactivated upon the Partner's request.

In general, the Partner is responsible for:

  • Ensuring the proper functioning of its equipment and internet access.
  • Any direct or indirect damage, of any nature whatsoever, caused by the content the Partner posts on HerFuture.
  • The accuracy and truthfulness of the content the Partner submits, regardless of its nature (e.g., job offers, partner descriptions, etc.), and compliance with legal and regulatory provisions.
  • Avoiding the publication of content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others or that is offensive, defamatory, or contrary to public policy or morality.

HerFuture reminds Partners that:

  • HerFuture does not verify the accuracy or truthfulness of the content submitted through the Service.
  • HerFuture is not responsible for the compliance of job offers or other content with applicable laws and regulations or their alignment with public morality or public policy.
  • HerFuture reserves the right to block or terminate access to the platform for any violations of these terms, without compensation and without prior notice.

7. HYPERLINKS

HerFuture may include links to third-party websites or services. While we strive to ensure the quality and accuracy of these links, we do not control the content on third-party sites and therefore cannot be held responsible for any information or material found on them. Users should exercise discretion when navigating to external sites.

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

8.1 HerFuture’s Intellectual Property

All elements of the HerFuture platform, including but not limited to trademarks, logos, text, data, graphics, photos, animations, sounds, and computer code, are the property of Minite Works BV or its licensors. The design, content, and structure of the platform are protected by intellectual property laws and are owned exclusively by HerFuture. Users are granted a limited license to view and use the content for personal, non-commercial purposes. Any other use, including reproduction, distribution, or public display of content, requires prior written consent from HerFuture.

8.2 Users’ Intellectual Property

Users retain ownership of the content they post on the platform. By uploading content, users grant HerFuture a worldwide, non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free license to access, use, reproduce, adapt, publish, and process the content as necessary to operate the platform’s services.

9. Right of Withdrawal, Closing of the Account

9.1 Talents

You can unsubscribe from the HerFuture Service at any time by clicking on the "Delete Account" link in the "Settings" section. Once your account is permanently closed, your data will be anonymized and retained only for statistical purposes and to improve our services. If you wish to use the HerFuture Service again after closing your account, you will need to create a new account and complete the registration process from the start.

9.2 Partners

To close your Partner Account, you must submit a written request to herfuture@minite.works. HerFuture will process this request within 10 working days. If the Partner you represent does not renew the Services provided by HerFuture, access to your account will be suspended at the end of the Service period.

10. Legal Compliance and Dispute Resolution

10.1 Jurisdiction: These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any legal disputes will be resolved in the courts of Amsterdam, Netherlands.

10.2 Limitation of Liability: HerFuture is not responsible for any damages or losses arising from the use of the platform. Use of the platform is at your own risk, and HerFuture disclaims all liability to the fullest extent permitted by law.

11. Changes to Terms of Use

Notification of Changes: HerFuture reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Users will be notified of changes either directly via email or through the app. If notified via the app, users must agree to the updated terms before continuing to use the platform. No further action is required if notified via email.
