We're shaking up the tech industry! We empower female tech talent through events, jobs & career guidance, all using a data-driven approach. Our platform is growing insanely fast, and our clients include leading MNCs. Thousands of users rely on our product, with global expansion on the horizon.

About HerFuture

HerFuture is the largest community for women in tech in the Benelux, with 9,000+ active members and a reach of 36,000+. We help companies build lasting relationships with women in STEM through our app and in-person events, from intimate career dinners to our Grand Career Summit in London.

More than 100 organisations partner with us, including Van Lanschot Kempen, Capgemini, Deloitte, Picnic and Rabobank. We are VC-backed, based in Amsterdam, and growing into the UK. In 2025 we were named in the KvK Innovation Top 100 and won the Dianne Bevelander Prize.

The role

You will work side by side with our two co-founders as a founder in training. We are a small team that runs on automation and AI tools, so one sharp person can move a lot: prep a deal, launch an event, fix a process, start a new revenue line.

This role is for someone who wants to build a company one day, or is already building things. We hand you problems and you decide how to solve them, test fast and own the result. You will see how a VC-backed startup works from the inside, and you will carry real responsibility from week one.

What you could be working on

At HerFuture the small and mighty team does everything and we all wear multiple hats: sales, events, product, finance, recruiting. Nothing is someone else's job, and you will jump in wherever you are needed that week. That could include:

  • Sales and partnerships: research prospects, prepare the founders for calls, draft follow-ups and proposals, and keep our pipeline sharp so deals move forward.
  • Events: help plan and run our career dinners, masterclasses and summits in the Netherlands and the UK, from speaker outreach to the guest list and the evening itself.
  • Community and content: grow and engage our community of women in STEM, and help produce content for our app, newsletter, Instagram and LinkedIn.
  • Operations and automation: find manual work and automate it. Improve our internal tools, workflows and AI agents.
  • Founder projects: investor updates, board reporting, market research, pricing analysis, new business lines. Whatever the founders need thinking through, you help think it through.
  • Data: turn our app and event data into insights for partners and for our own decisions.

Who you are

You are sharp, driven and entrepreneurial, and you have the track record to show it. Your field of study is open: business, engineering, econometrics, computer science or something else entirely.

  • You graduated from a Dutch research university.
  • You excelled outside your studies or next to your fulltime job too, for example in performance sports, a company/project you started, a board year or music at a high level. We want to see that you push yourself.
  • You have an entrepreneurial streak. Bonus if you have started something, sold something or built something from scratch.
  • You take ownership. You finish things without being chased, and you flag problems early.
  • You think in numbers and outcomes, and you switch easily between spreadsheets, client calls and event logistics in one day.
  • You write clearly and hold your own with senior people at large companies.
  • You move fast with AI tools and automation, and you teach yourself what you don't know yet.
  • You care about getting more women into tech.
  • You are fluent in Dutch.
  • You can work from Amsterdam at least part of the week.

You might be a recent graduate with a strong track record outside your studies, or you might have 1 to 3 years of work experience. We set the bar high because this role grows with the company.

What we offer

  • Direct mentorship from two founders who previously worked in corporate tech.
  • Real responsibility from week one, with room to grow into a lead role in data, business, events or operations.
  • A seat at our largest events and access to a network of 100+ partner companies.
  • Participation in our share appreciation rights (SAR) programme.
