HerFuture is a community, platform and mobile app dedicated to helping female students & young professionals navigate career (opportunities) in tech through community events, jobs, career guidance, role models and inspiring content. We aim to have more women in tech by supporting, inspiring and connecting female students interested in this field.

HerFuture is for students who are interested in tech, whether you're already studying a tech or STEM field or simply interested in exploring it further. We welcome students from all years and backgrounds as well as young professionals or recent graduates. We’re a vibrant community designed to support and empower women in tech. If you're looking for a safe space to connect with like-minded peers, meet inspiring female role models, and participate in events that help you grow, HerFuture is here for you. Women currently make up less than 30% of the tech workforce, and we’re dedicated to changing that by providing a supportive environment where you can thrive and find your place in the industry. 

Throughout the year we offer several events tailored to both professional growth and bringing the community together. You can join community events like "Design & CV Shine," where we come together to get feedback on our CVs from recruiters at companies like Picnic, ING or Accenture, after which we unwind during a relaxing painting session. We also organize exciting visits to top tech companies like Booking.com, as well as casual social gatherings such as drinks or brunches with female role models during International Women’s Day. For professional development, we host interactive workshops and other events designed to enhance your skills and knowledge in tech. Our events are unique and designed to help you build connections, develop skills, and gain insights into the tech industry.

Our app is the heart and soul of our community. You can create and showcase your professional profile, explore inspiring content, browse and apply for job opportunities, see all upcoming events and register for them, engage with the community, find inspiring companies, connect with like-minded girls, learn about female role models and access other resources that provide career guidance and inspiration. Our platform helps you connect to all the resources you need to thrive in tech.

Creating a profile is easy and takes less than a minute. Sign up on our platform either via www.herfuture.nl or download the App (iOS and Android), fill out your profile and you’re good to go.

No, all services of HerFuture are entirely free for students. We believe in providing equal access to opportunities without financial barriers. You can enjoy all our events, content, and other resources at no cost.

Once your profile is set up, you browse jobs and internships directly through the app under the “Jobs” tab. In the future, you’ll receive personalized job recommendations based on your skills and interests, much like how we currently do at our mother company Minite.

Great to hear you want to be a changemaker! Join fellow frontrunners such as Booking.com, Accenture, KPMG, FlowTraders, Picnic, Van Lanschot Kempen, ING and more, and let’s join forces to collectively increase the share of women in tech. All partnerships run for at least one academic year during which you can join our events, post your vacancies on our app, and engage with our community. We can provide in-house workshops, training sessions, and consulting on topics such as engaging female tech talent, understanding Gen Z hiring trends, and creating inclusive work environments.
